* Preschool Developmental Screenings (Ages 2 years 6 months - 5 years 11 months)

Daisy Diagnostics (Diagnostic Assessment and Intervention Services for Young Children) provides developmental screenings so parents can get to know their child’s strengths and weaknesses. It is a means to understand their child’s milestones as they compare to typical development and growth in a number of areas including conceptual learning, language, speech, social-emotional development and motor skills. It is also a way to identify possible delays that could be addressed through early interventions in order to help their child learn and grow to their potential.

* Comprehensive Evaluations

Daisy Diagnostics provides comprehensive assessments of a child’s development. The first few years of a child’s life are a particularly sensitive period in the process of development. Research shows that early identification of a child’s challenges can significantly improve the factors that place children at-risk for developmental delay. Early intervention provides supports for the child as a whole and are essential in helping children learn and grow to their potential.

If you believe that your child may have a cognitive, developmental, speech or language delay, or if your young child exhibits some atypical behaviors (which may be associated with autism) or is having emotional or behavioral challenges, a Multi-Disciplinary Developmental Evaluation may be warranted. This evaluation examines a child’s development in major areas of functioning including:

Daisy Diagnostics works as a multidisciplinary team. (all professionals are in the evaluation together and are highly qualified professionals from different areas of training and experience) Our evaluators have expertise in Early Childhood and includes a School Psychologist and Speech/Language Pathologist. Debbie Mostkoff is a certified and licensed school psychologist. Nancy Adams is a certified and licensed speech/language pathologist. We have over 50 combined years of experience working with children in the public school system. We specialize in preschool screenings and evaluations and comprehensive evaluations for school-age children. We use standardized assessment instruments and provide a written report with recommendations to the family. We will evaluate your child and provide appropriate recommendations to best fit your child’s individual needs. We are excited about developing a relationship with you and your child!
